We’re recruiting for an exciting Web Developer job opportunity in Banbury, as part of an innovative and creative online business.

The Role

Reporting into the business CEO, the purpose of the Web Developer will be responsible for the designing, coding and modifying of multiple websites and web applications for a range of business requirements.

There will also be a strong element of pioneering new websites and web products from conception to completion.

Key Roles & Responsibilities will also include:

  • Write testable, efficient code
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Monitor project progress, feeding back to team
  • Contribute to successful process & system improvements, maximising efficiency of technical solutions
  • Technical analysis and project briefs

Skills & Experience

  • Solid experience of web programming, encompassing JavaScript, MySQL, PHP. HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, AJAX & responsive design
  • Ideally 2-3 years experience within a company delivering to client / company briefs
  • WordPress codex
  • Possess good portfolio of web problems, ie websites / web applications built in PHP, MySQL and Javascript
  • Able to demonstrate coding skills in a live environment
  • Ideally a good foundation in design, graphics and user interface design
  • First rate problem solver
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • A willing listener, able to take on feedback
  • MS Office proficient
