Are you a practical and methodical person with previous maintenance experience?

We’re recruiting for a proactive, Stores and Maintenance person, working for a large Banbury-based Manufacturer.

The Role

The purpose of the Stores and Maintenance role will be to tackle a wide range of basic facilities and maintenance tasks throughout all on-site office and factory areas. There will also be responsibility for the storing of all incoming goods and ensuring they are all accounted for. The job requires a responsible and can-do attitude

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • General day-to-day facilities tasks such as replenishment of toilet rolls, paper towels, photocopying paper and ensure enough stock is readily available
  • Stocktaking and secure packing up of stock
  • Pool car maintenance – cleaning, oil, water, tyre pressure, lights etc
  • Taking cars to garage for maintenance
  • Office / factory minor repairs – eg. locks, replacing batteries, hanging pictures, address any blockages etc
  • Cleaning factory floor
  • Lighting checks
  • Ensure water machines are full & stocked with cups
  • Maintenance of coffee machine
  • Distributing milk

Skills & Experience

  • Maintenance or plumbing background desirable
  • Can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Methodical
  • Full, clean UK driving license

Other information / Benefits

  • 40 hours per week – Monday-Friday, 08:00am – 16:30pm (with half an hour unpaid lunchbreak)
