Do you have experience as a Legal Secretary or within a legal admin support role?

We’re recruiting for a a varied and interesting Legal Secretary vacancy, working for a well-regarded local, legal client, based at their Banbury premises.

The Role

Reporting into the Company Commercial Director, the Legal Secretary will be a pro-active and self-motivated person, with previous legal experience and fantastic communication skills, responsible for covering all company commercial secretarial support tasks.

Key roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Producing legal documentation and correspondence
  • Digital audio typing
  • Setting up new case files and well as closing any obsolete files too
  • Copy typing
  • Booking meetings
  • Making appointments
  • Tracked changes
  • Answering the phone
  • Filing

Key skills & experience must include:

  • Previous experience working within a legal environment
  • Strong set of secretarial/admin support skills, including audio-typing, track changes, copy typing
  • Professional and personable communication skills
  • Fast, accurate typing skills
  • Solid IT skills (MS Office)
  • Attention to detail
  • Well organised
  • Team player
