Are you an enthusiastic, driven and outgoing person with a background in Customer Service, Banking or finance?

Our well recognised client from the financial sector, are recruiting for a new Customer Service Advisor, as part of their Banbury team. Permanent and contract opportunities available.

The Role

As part of a 12-strong team, the role entails working with a portfolio of company clients, building professional business relationships & ensuring SLA agreements are fulfilled.

The ultimate purpose of the role will be to act as the key focal point between the client and their customers, ensuring that clients receive an excellent service throughout

Who are they looking for?

The company are not expecting you to know banking and finance inside out. Comprehensive training & on-going support will be provided. They are looking for someone with natural, rapport-building qualities, with the ability to confidently hold professional conversations with their clients. Sound decision-making and a great willingness to learn and develop will also be essential

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handling day-to-day client service requirements
  • Answering / resolving all client queries
  • Occasional face-to-face client meetings
  • Liaising closely with other internal departments
  • Basic financial tasks such as reconciliation, credit control, chasing outstanding payments/debt management

Skills & Experience required

  • Excellent customer service / interpersonal skills and great natural ability to build strong, sustainable business relationships
  • Experience within Credit Control or the financial sector desirable but not essential
  • Outgoing & assertive personality
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good e-mail management skills
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Able to work within strict time frames
  • Self-motivation
  • Problem-solver

Working hours will be 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with the opportunity to work flexitime.
