We’re on the lookout for a Credit Controller, for a specialist Banbury business, experiencing significant business growth.The purpose of the Credit Controller will be to manage an agreed portfolio of clients, chasing payments and looking to ensure payments and received within agreed payment terms.

The Credit Controller will have some Credit Control experience. Other essentials include strong customer service and people skills, particularly over the phone, as well as resilience and the ability to work within a fast-paced office.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Manage client portfolio, both chasing payments and striving to ensure payments are received within payment terms
Build rapport with clients, forging strong working relations
Develop a strong understanding of company products
Develop a good understanding of how and when to act on information, adapting to each business circumstance as required
Set credit limits within guidelines
Monitor collection performance

Skills & Experience

Credit Control experience and a sound understanding of general accounting processes are essential to the role
Able to work to strict time frames & monitor effectiveness
Advanced Excel skills advantageous
Previous accounting qualifications also desirable
First-rate attention to detail
Data flow management
Excellent communication & influencing skills
Problem solving & negotiating
